Purpose
You make figures of plane geometry, using a specific language, g2d.
Prerequisites
g2d is a new language. You do not need to know g2d in advance: the service's page provides all the information you need. To use g2d, though, you have to be familiar with the basic concepts in Euclidean geometry: coordinates, scales, and the basic figures such as lines and polygons.
Your work
Basically, you write a program in the page's worksheet, you click Preview to check the result, and you click Purchase to get a more detailed view and to download the drawing.
You can load any of the examples provided (which is our advice to beginners), and registered users can save (and later re-load) their programs.
While you are not yet familiar with the language, keep the Short reference popup window open. That window shows all the terms and provides for each one a link to the corresponding entry in the Reference Manual.

Authors & History
Today, setting up a compiler for a new language is easy and simple. Time has come for ad-hoc languages, where only the user's comfort and ease of use drive the language's design.
g2d is that language, intended for making drawings. The language, and its implementation over the Internet, was designed and written by Emmanuel Lévy, Satimage-software, France.
g2d was implemented at MyWorksonline by the Satimage-software team.
