You have to be familiar with those maths that you want to use: knowing the four operators + - x / is enough. The calculator also provides the elementary mathematical functions (trigonometric, etc.): the list of the functions is provided in the calculator's page itself.

The calculator's worksheet can store as many lines as you need (for registered user, the worksheet's content persists between two sessions.) When you click the Compute button, the last line of the worksheet is computed and the result is appended in a new line. If the last line is only a number (the result of a previous operation), the calculator reads the previous line, and so on until it finds a formula to compute.
For example, enter 2 * (538 - 4), then click the Compute button. The result of the operation prints as a new line. Bring a change in the formula and click again the Compute button: the calculator computes the new formula.
